  • Extended Insurance helps protect large deposit balances by expanding your NCUA insurance coverage beyond the standard insurance limit.
Eligible deposits are automatically distributed in amounts within NCUA insurance limits across a network of participating credit unions. This allows you to protect larger eligible deposits while managing your money through a single Trumark account.
  • After depositing funds, Trumark automatically allocates eligible balances across participating credit unions in amounts that remain within NCUA insurance limits.

For example, if you deposit $1 million, your funds may be distributed among several participating credit unions, with no more than the applicable insurance limit allocated to each institution. This helps maximize your NCUA insurance coverage while allowing you to continue banking through Trumark.

You don't need to open multiple accounts or manage relationships with different financial institutions. Your eligible deposits and account activity are consolidated into one relationship with Trumark.

  • You maintain control of your account just as you would with any other deposit account.

You can make deposits, withdrawals, and transfers as permitted through your account. Trumark handles the allocation of eligible deposits across the network of participating credit unions, so you don't have to.
