Trumark Credit Union Celebrates Community Impact, Honors 2026 Difference Maker Scholarship Recipients
On Wednesday, June 24, Trumark Credit Union honored three extraordinary student leaders who were awarded the credit union’s 2026 Difference Maker Scholarships. The annual scholarship program celebrates student leaders who have gone beyond academics to make a meaningful difference in their communities by launching or partnering with nonprofit organizations that address real needs. Recipients were selected based on the impact, reach, and future potential of their community service initiatives, as well as verified volunteer hours, a personal essay, and completion of financial literacy modules.
"What impressed us most wasn't just what these students accomplished, it was the initiative they showed in identifying a need and doing something about it," said Kelly Botti, Chief Executive Officer of Trumark Credit Union. "Each of these young leaders saw an opportunity to make a difference and took action. They're already creating meaningful change in their communities, and we're proud to support the next chapter of their journeys."
The 2026 Difference Maker Scholarship recipients include:
· First Prize ($7,500 Scholarship): Aishwarya Ashok, a graduate of Central Bucks High School South, founded THRIVE: Teen Health Resilience Inspiring Values & Empowerment, an organization dedicated to improving teen mental health through education, supportive community building, and empowerment resources. Through workshops and peer-focused programming, THRIVE helps young people navigate mental health challenges while reminding them they don't have to face them alone.
· Second Prize ($4,000 Scholarship): Neava Jagtap, a graduate of Great Valley High School, was honored for her work creating Heartful Minds, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, while distributing artwork created in senior art classes to cancer patients in the form of Kindness Cards.
· Third Prize ($3,000 Scholarship): Eyan Moten, a graduate of Lower Merion High School, was recognized for his work with the Dimplez 4 Dayz, a non-profit where he implemented the Brick by Brick LEGO® Club, which provides safe, welcoming environments where collaborative play helps young people build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and develop meaningful social-emotional connections.
"I realized that the feelings that I was trying to make sense of as a teen weren't just specific to me—they could happen to anybody," said Ashok. "I wanted to start something to ensure peers don't need to struggle through their mental health alone. Everybody has a different style of coping and communicating, so our workshops are born out of connecting with these teens and showing them, 'Hey, I care about you, let's work on this together.'"
The awards were presented following a morning breakfast and meet-and-greet session where the finalists, their families, and sponsoring teachers connected with Trumark Credit Union leadership to share their stories of service. In addition to the individual tuition scholarships awarded to the students, Trumark Credit Union is delivering a $350 donation to each of the local non-profit organizations partnered with the top 10 finalists to help amplify their collective community impact. By celebrating these student-led initiatives, Trumark Credit Union continues its commitment to investing in local youth education while strengthening the foundational non-profit organizations that support Southeastern Pennsylvania.
